You: Sure, here's my passport.
Receptionist: Great. So you're in Block C, flat 4, room 2. Here's your key and your fob for the main door.
You: Thanks. Sorry, what's the fob for exactly?
Receptionist: You just tap it on the reader by the entrance. The building's locked after ten at night.
You: Ah, okay, got it. And how do I get on the Wi-Fi?
Receptionist: It's all in this welcome pack. You log in with your university username and password.
You: Perfect. Is there a laundry room in the building?
Receptionist: It's in Block A. You pay through an app, about three pounds a wash.
You: Okay. And one more thing, if something's broken in the room, who should I tell?
Receptionist: Just report it on the maintenance portal, or pop in here during office hours.
You: Great, that's really helpful. Thanks so much.
